My iPhone Deserves Better by prfstars | Jul 16 '07 Pros: Clear design shows off your iPhone from every angle. Raised edges help protect the screen. Cons: Comes apart easily. Feels icky and bulky in my hands.

I'm still trying to figure out if, and how, the iPhone is a step up from my Blackberry, which I've had for a year. I can make both domestic and international phone calls, do e-mail, surf, keep my address book and date book, and play brickbats. So what's the big deal?

Margaret, unless you'd like to have a few gigabytes worth of music on your phone, I'm not sure the iPhone has any objective edge over your Blackberry. In fact, it's probably (for now, anyway) inferior to your Blackberry in some regards. As with most Apple products, though, there's a "feel" to the iPhone that sets it apart. I've only had mine for a couple of days, but it's already starting to feel like an extension of my hand. At least two or three times today, I've reached for my laptop's monitor to squeeze or expand a window, only to remember that I have to use the trackpad. The iPhone is starting to reprogram my expectation of how a computer interface should work.
