The N52, is a pad with 16 buttons and a Joystick designed for use by gamers, and it was designed perfectly.

The N52 has a sleek and comfortable design which looks stylishly cool among your gaming equipment.

The Base for your hand is made of a soft plastic which has a feel so pleasant you may occasionally stroke it like you would a small animal. The Shape is also perfectly designed to fit comfortably into your hand.

The Buttons are arranged in three rows with two buttons off to the side for use by your thumb. Every button is easily pressed, without straining your hand at all for positioning of pressure, and your wrist can remain stationary on the wrist pad.

Beside the Keys is a Scroll wheel which is easily scrolled but has enough stiffness that the wheel can still be easily pushed down so as to act as a button.

The Thumb pad is just rough enough for grip and easily controls movement in any game.

Every Key, the 8 Thumb pad Directions and the 3 Scroll wheel functions, can be customized to act as any key on your keyboard or mouse, and macros can be made which will press a series of buttons. The Macros can be given delays for perfect timing, and can even be set to repeat the macro even after you have released the button.
The N52 the has 3 'Key Maps' each of which can have a individual setup so that styles of game play can be switched between seamlessly.
Then on top of that there can be any number of 'Profiles' each of which can contain 3 'Key maps'. Profiles can be set to automatically switch based on the active program, or can be switched between manually.

The Program which comes along with the N52 allows all the Macros, Profiles and Key maps to be easily set without ever reading an instructions manual.

IN SUMMARY: the device is built superbly and functions perfectly allowing a gamer to have several more keys at his instant disposal, allowing faster reactions and better, perfectly customized, performance.
