Pros: Cute prints, good workmanship.
Cons: velcro, absorbency, drying time.
The Bottom Line: I recomend this diaper for people who are value shopping and can make up the monetary difference in added washes and longer drying time.

| Lynnmabel's Full Review: Bellies and Buns Fitted Cloth Diapers |
I picked up a couple of Bellied and Buns fitted diapers after everyone raved about how wonderful they were. They were fairly inexpensive as cloth diapers go, about $8. They did indeed come in cute prints and the workmanship was fairly well. Unfortunately, that's about where my raves end. I am not biased against applix (velcro) one way or another, but in these particular diapers (as with some others) the way it is sewn in allows the sides to curl up. They did not scratch my baby's belly, but they did snag her clothes, especially silky things like nightgowns, and scratch her arms if she was undressed and not careful. In light of that, I would much prefer to see these with snaps, or velcro that is sewn in all the way to the edges. They were only 'fair' when it came to absorbency. A little thicker would be well worth it if it provided more protection from leaks, especially at night and in the summer when we often go without a cover. For all that lack of absorbency, they sure do take a long time to dry though! My dryer has a sensor that stops when they are dry, and it took these upwards of 40 minutes to dry, and these were just a couple in there by themselves! Overall, this is an economical choice, and as the slogan goes, 'you get what you pay for.' Not a bad choice for people experimenting with cloth, or those who just *have* to try everything!
