| erin5oaks's Full Review: Bellies and Buns Fitted Cloth Diapers |
Not only can I win on the volleyball court, but I can come home and use cloth diapers like my mother. Who says we can't have it all?
Ok, these diapers are really MUCH better than our mothers ever dreamed of. Each of the diapers is hand made. The quality is like no others. The diapers are made of 100% cotton flannel. This is the most absorbent cloth diaper I have used.
You can get them in many different prints. There are ones for boys, girls, or even some neutral prints. A few of my favorite ones are baseballs, clouds, smiley faces, plaid, and frogs.
These diapers are so easy to use. There are velcro tabs, so there is no messing with pins. I have always been afraid of sticking the baby when I have used pins. I have had no problem with them coming unstuck.
You can probably use these diapers without a cover for an hour. I haven't tried it longer than this. You can either use plastic pants or a diaper cover with these diapers depending on your preference.
These diapers come with a fleece liner that helps pull away the moisture from the baby's skin. The fit is nicely, there is no leaking around the legs. I have found that there is not the problem with bulk like with other cloth diapers.
Bellies and Buns cloth diapers come in the following sizes: Newborn-6 to 11 pounds, Small- 10 to 17 pounds, Medium- 15 to 27 pounds, Large- 25 to 35 pounds, X-Large- 32 + pounds. As you can see these will work until you potty train your child.
These are very easy to wash. There is a tab that you hook the velcro to when washing so they don't stick to the other diapers when washing or drying. The colors don't fad and there has been no problem with staining. These are so durable that you can use them for all of your children. This is a wonderful investment.
Not only are these great for the environment, but in the end they save you money compared to disposable diapers. You only have to make the one time investment. I have many friends who pass them back and forth between themselves. I haven't seen any that seem tattered or worn.
If you want to order them go to www.belliesandbuns.com. I have found that the site is easy to navigate. The price of $8 a diaper is comparable to other cloth diapers with velcro tabs and these are hand sown.
Give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
