| myheartx4's Full Review: Bellies and Buns Fitted Cloth Diapers |
I have used AIOs for most of our cloth diapering time, but when my boys outgrew them, I began searching for a new diaper. When I started cloth diapering about 2 years ago, I had never heard of WAHM diapers, but now there are well over 50 to choose from. Since I have a son who is an extremely heavy wetter, and had heard that Chinese prefolds were the most absorbent diapers available, I was very excited when I discovered Bellies and Buns diapers. I would have gone straight for the Chinese prefolds, but I would never be able to convince hubby to use pins, and I am not too keen on them myself, as my son is very ticklish, and I am afraid I would poke him while he squirmed.
I ordered diapers from several WAHM and a few AIOs from Mother Ease, and quickly found the Bellies and Buns to be my favorite. They are of extremely soft flannel, not too bulky, and a perfect fit. The Aplix holds tight, and my 2 year old can not pull it off yet. The diapers are very well made, the quality is higher than most of the manufactured diapers I have tried. They come in fun prints that my sons love to wear.
The maker of these diapers is extremely nice and very quick with delivery, and definitely takes pride in the quality of her diapers. I started out with a purchase of 3 to try, and was hooked with the first wearing. I then ordered 3 more from the maker, and bought eight from the auctions and swap boards. I have decided that this is, by far, my favorite diaper, and have sold off most of my other diapers.
If you like fitted diapers, I highly recommend you try the Bellies and Buns, you will not be disappointed.
