Benadryl for More Than Allergies!

The Bottom Line: If you have allergies and need a cold remedy, this is the one for you! It will take care of your symptoms.

I use Benadryl for my allergies and I use their cream for itchy spots, too. Now I've found a new Benadryl product that I really like taking for my allergy & cold symptoms. It's Benadryl Allergy/Cold.
This medication, like all other Benadryl medications is made by Parke-Davis. Benadryl is the histamine blocker, so it helps with the itchiness and irritation. Calms irritability due to other problems.
Benadryl Allergy/Cold contains 4 important characteristics that make it perfect for Allergy/Cold symptoms. It has an antihistimine, a nasal decongestant, a pain reliever and a fever reducer. All four characteristics in just one medication! That's unbelievable!
Benadryl Allergy/Cold relieves nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, headache, sore throat, and fever, all associated with allergies and/or colds. It is specifically formulated to provide effective relief fo common symptoms of upper respiratory allergies (URA) which are complicated by colds. It combines the strength of Benadryl to provide relief for runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, itchy nose or throat, and has maximum strength decongestant to relieve sinus and nasal congestion associated with common colds. Don't forget the maximum strength pain reliever to help with body aches, sinus headaches and fevers, too.
It is recommended that adults and children (ages 12 and older) take 2 tablets every 6 hours while symptoms are persistant, but not to takem ore than 8 tablets in a 24 hour period. Children under 12 are not advised to take this medication unless directed to do so by their physician!
If you drink alcoholic beverages, it is recommended that you consult your physician before taking this drug. It does contain Diphenhydramine which does cause drowsiness/dizziness. It is also not recommended for those who take MAOI inhibitors. If you are pregnant or nursing you should consult a physician before taking this medication as well.
So, what made me choose this medication over other cold medications? Well, with allergies, not just any cold medication will do. Also, I trust the Benadryl name and line of products. They've always provided relief and haven't let me down yet.
The medication is fairly fast acting. I started to notice relief in about 15-20 minutes after taking it. My symptoms became less and less within a matter of a couple of days. It is much more effective than many others that I have taken, like Advil Cold & Sinus.
Would I buy this product again? You bet I would, and I will. And would I recommend it to others? Absolutely! This is a medication that will always be in my medicine cabinet. That's a guarantee!
