I first purchased Benadryl Allergy/Cold medicine about a month ago. I had had a cold, or so I thought, for a couple of weeks. After trying just about every cold medication on the market, with no results, I decided to give Benadryl Allergy/Cold a try. What could it hurt? Maybe I had allergies and didn't even know it.So I ran down to my local CVS pharmacy and spent my last $5.00 hoping that this would be the solution. I was not disappointed!
About one half hour after taking those two pills I felt 100% better. My head no longer felt like it was filled with cotton. I was able to breathe through my nose for the first time in weeks! Boy, was I amazed!
I'm still not sure if I have allergies, but with this medication that does not worry me. Now at the first sign of congestion, I confidently swallow two pills knowing that whatever it may be, a cold or allergies, it doesn't have a chance of slowing me down once those pills are in my system!
Now for some facts about Benadryl Allergy/Cold.
1) It is a Antihistamine / Nasal Decongestant / Pain Reliever-Fever Reducer
2) Relieves: Nasal Congestion; Sneezing; Runny Nose; Headache; Sore Throat & Fever due to Allergies & Colds
3) Dosage: Adults and children 12 years of age and older
4) Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this medication.
5) If you are nursing or pregnant consult your doctor before using this product.
6) May cause drowsiness.
7) May cause excitability especially in children.
So if you have tried other cold medications and still haven't found one that works, I recommend that you try Benadryl Allergy/ Cold. It worked for me!!
