I have used Benefit's Maybe Baby "perfume" for a few months now. Since starting my own daycare business a few months ago, finances were tighter. When my Maybe Baby started to run low, I found a great replacement product. Maybe Baby Shimmering Body Lotion.
Baby, this stuff smells awesome
I love, love, love the smell of Maybe Baby. It is a great mixture of white ginger, apricot and white blossoms. It's the perfect blend of floral and fruity without being overpowering or insulting. It is the perfect fragrance for spring time.
Shimmering Lotion
Maybe Baby Lotion is a thick, creamy lotion. It's fleshy colored and has just the right amount of shimmer. It's not so much that you are blinding people with reflections off your skin and your not plucking glitter off of anyone who's gotten within 2 feet of you. It's also not so little that it goes undetected. It's just perfect. The smell and shimmer last about 4-5 hours.
Moisturizing properties
I just want to say that I use this lotion strictly for its smell since I can't afford the toilette. I use a separate moisturizer on my skin since it is typically very dry. I would not suggest Maybe Baby as a "moisturizing lotion". It's good for layering if you have the complete set.
Pretty as a picture
Maybe Baby Shimmering Lotion comes in a peachy-orange colored squeeze tube. It has a screw off lid that doubles to stand it up. The words "Maybe Baby" are in fancy cursive writing up the bottle. The 6.7oz run around $22 at most retailers. A gift set is available which includes the toilette as well (which I will get next time instead).
Neither the bottle nor the box contain ingredients for the lotion. The toilette, however, does.
