Pros: Light, Anti-oxidants, SPF 15, Oil Free baby!
Cons: Doesn't replace my moisturizer
I have always heard good things about Benefit Cosmetics, but never got around to trying any of their products. My best friend recently just came back from visiting Guam and told me that I should try the product You Rebel. We have similar skin types, both in color and texture. We both have an olive complexion and tend to be lighter in the winter and darker in the summer.
The issue that we always come across is matching our make up to our skin tones when the season changes. I have a drawer filled with powders and foundations ranging in colors. This is part of the reason why my friend recommended You Rebel to me. She said because it has a slight tint to it, I wouldn't have to worry about matching my current skin color to my foundation or powder. The product consist of a one color tint that basically sets to match your existing skin color. I noticed this in my friend. She came back from vacation with a distinct glow and tan. I commented oh how good her skin looked and she credited You Rebel. I not having a tan yet, tried the product as well and noticed how it was able to blend with both of our skin tones.
Before, I use to use a concealer, makeup to powder foundation, and dust off with a translucent powder. Now, I only use a concealer and You Rebel. Having the tendency of getting an oily T-zone area, I noticed that by using this product that I am less oily by mid-day than usual if at all. I continue to use my normal face moisturizer before applying a concealer and You Rebel.
The application is light. You only need a smudge out of the tube for full coverage. A little goes a long way. For a foundation consistency, it is not messy like other foundations.
You Rebel comes in a 1.7 fl oz tube and contains anti-oxidants, vitamins A, E & B5, aloe vera, allantoin and SPF 15. It is also oil free.
This product can be purchased at Sephora and Macy's.
