Benny's Burritos, (113 Greenwich Avenue at Jane Street) makes great burritos. I love the California burritos that are made here, they are huge and overstuffed (a good thing), and have a great flavor. And the veggie burrito is good too. The only problem with Benny's is the fact that it is loved by so many people, and that the restaurant is way too small to accommodate them all. So you end up waiting along time outside (which is no fun in bad weather), and then when you finally get inside the tables are too close together. You have NO elbow room at all. Someone is forever knocking over a water glass. And don't even think of trying to eat here on the weekend! It's way too packed.
It's too bad that this place is so small. 'Cause the food is terrific. As are the margaritas. But the dinning experience is ruined by the cramped quarters. You are better off walking down the street to 'Benny's To Go' - and get the same great food, but take out only. (Sorry they don't make margaritas to go.)
