Pros: Short wait time to get seated (I guess they don't have many customers.)
Cons: I got diarrhea! Please boycott Bertucci's.
The Bottom Line: If you want sever abdominal pains eat at this restaurant. Otherwise avoid like you avoid germs.

I went to Bertuccis in Oxford Valley, PA on Sunday September 16th, 2007 at about 6:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. to eat dinner along with my wife and 19 month old daughter. I ordered orange juice and my wife ordered water for drinks. I asked for a kid cup for my daughter. We ordered a large shrimp bella napoli pizza with no toppings. Together we ate all of the pieces except for two. My waiter was a Caucasian middle-aged man. He didnt seem to friendly when I first ordered. I sat along the second table next to the wall to the left side after the entrance. My daughter was given some shrimp and cheese pieces from the pizza and a little bit of the orange juice from my first and second glass of orange juice.
I needed two refills of my juice as I ate my meal. When I needed my last refill I was looking for the waiter as I was thirsty. The people sitting next to me where also looking for the waiter as they needed something as well. After eating my meal I drove home. At home I was feeling hungry so I drank a can of sprite soda. Then later on I ate a slice of the pizza which we had taken home. I also drank some Tropicana orange juice. During this time my daugher starting crying loudly and neither I nor my wife could figure out why she did this. She was unconsolable.
At about 3AM in the morning, I had strong abdominal pain and then diarrhea. This happened over a period of half and hour. I havent had a bout of diarrhea in a year. So I clearly knew this is from the restaurant. It may have been uncleanliness but I suspect the waiter and possibly some kitchen staff conspired to put something in my juice. I determined it was the juice or possibly the 2 pieces of pizza which we took home.
I advice anyone reading this not to patronize this particular Bertuccis restaurant in Oxford Valley and also to boycott Bertuccis throughout the United States because if the management allows it to happen to one, it most likely could happen at another. Oh sure I will call the PA health department and the CDC but I think the boycott of a restaurant has more impact rather than a health official coming in and doing an inspection after the fact.
