Availability: I had a hard time finding these headphones in stock, http://headphone.com shows they sell them with an eta of 2-4 weeks for delivery. So I decided to import a pair from a reseller in England. I would like to see the supply chain updated to include more US sellers
Packaging: The headphones come in a sturdy and stylish looking cardboard box, nothing to special about the packing, just some plastic to protect the headphones during shipment and some packet of silica to prevent moisture damage to the item.
Design and overall impression of the headphones: The headphones dont look at that special, looks like some cheapo plastic headphones that can be had for 10 or 15 dollars at any mega-mart. Now to me this isnt a bad thing .the last thing I want well I am out is to flash around expensive headphones that scream steal me steal me. The head band is an internal spring loaded one, it self adjusts to your head when you put them on. In theory it sounds like a good idea, and if you are stationary it is. The problem I have found is if you walk around with them the band bounces up and down and really affects the sound. But I will say they are really comfy headphones, almost feels as if you are not wearing anything on you're head. Also to note these headphones have a single sided cable entry.
Sound: Now for the part you have been waiting for, these headphones are well rounded. They are not overly bright(highs) nor are they overly boomy, they handle both ends with ease. The bass is tight and responive and the highs are clear and crisp. The only thing that is lacking just ever so slightly is the mids, but you can barely tell. I will go so far as to say these are probably the best sealed headphones under $100 the only problem I have come to with these headphones, they are kinda INefficient and hard to drive from newer portable audio devices, so if you have a portable headphone amp I would recommend using it.
