Pros: Light, fast, comfortable, attractive, and fun to ride.
Cons: Costlier than the typical "hybrid" bike.
The Bottom Line: A bike for all seasons, and for all riders more concerned with comfort and performance than with looking like a racer.

| ke8yy's Full Review: Bianchi Milano |
Years ago, when the market for high quality bicycles was evenly divided between full-tilt racing bikes and heavy duty mountain bikes, Bianchi took what some may think is a bit of a risk and introduced the Milano, a high-end cruiser bike. With its wide swept handlebars, curved top bar, wide saddle, internal rear hub and (gasp!) chain guard, it could never be mistaken for an enthusiast's bike.
But a lot of enthusiasts discovered that the Milano was something they hadn't ridden since they were kids- a really comfortable bike that you didn't need to put on lycra and special shoes to ride. This was a bike that you could hop on, in your street clothes- just like the cruisers we had when we were kids. The chain guard meant you could wear long pants without getting them tangled in the chain, or shorts without getting the imprint of the sprocket printed on your leg in grease.
The success of the Milano spawned other bikes, including a simpler three-speed version, and the recent single-speed "Rollo", a bike that doesn't take itself very seriously at all, with its clown logo and horn.
The Milano is light, responsive, and most of all, fun to ride. It's the perfect bike for runs to the coffeehouse or the grocery, or over to a friend's house. Add fenders (there's plenty of room) and lights, and it's a great commuter, too.
