OK,TO START I FOUND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND REVIEWS ON THESE SPEAKERS. I HAVE READ RAVE REVIEWS ON OTHER BIC SPEAKERS AND THAT IS WHAT I ENDED UP RELYING ON WHEN I PURCHASED THE 1530'S. I PERSONALLY LIKE BIGGER DRIVERS. HAVING OWNED KLIPSCH,BOSE,BSR,KENWOOD,ETC., AND HAVING SOLD SPEAKERS(MULTIPLE BRANDS)IN JAPAN;I HAVE A DECENT IDEA OF WHAT COMPRISES AN ACCEPTABLE "BRIDGING ON THE HIGH END" SPEAKER. THE 1530'S HAVE LIVED UP TO AND SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS! MAN BIC "HOW DO YOU DO IT?". FOR THE PRICE I PAYED FOR THESE SPEAKERS I KEEP LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER EXPECTING SOMEONE TO PINCH ME.

THESE SPEAKERS HAVE BASS; BOY DO THEY. I KEPT MY VERY COMPETENT SUBWOOFER THINKING THAT I MAY STILL NEED IT'S SERVICES(WRONG!). I HAVE BEEN USED TO HORNS WITH THE KLIPSCH SPEAKERS WHICH WORRIED ME WHEN I LOOKED AT THE PIC'S OF THE BIC'S TWEETERS. NO NEED TO WORRY THESE SPEAKERS HAVE WONDERFUL UNCOLORED SOUND REPRODUCTION.

THESE SPEAKERS SOUND GOOD LOUD, THEY CAN THUMP! ALSO THEY SOUND VERY GOOD AT LOWER VOLUME LEVELS TOO. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE PUMPING OUT METALLICA OR CLASSICAL MUSIC WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT.

I DECIDED THAT IF THESE SPEAKERS MET MY EXPECTATIONS I WOULD PUT A REVIEW OUT THERE FOR OTHERS TO READ...IF YOU OWN A PAIR OF THESE SPEAKERS PLEASE REVIEW THEM,THEY DESERVE IT.

ALSO LAST BUT NOT LEAST THESE SPEAKERS ARE VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED AND ARE VERY PLEASING TO THE EYE. I AM VERY VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE::::BUT ALAS THESE SPEAKERS MAY BE GOING AWAY....BUY A SET WHILE YOU CAN QUICKLY..SEARCH THE INTERNET.

I PURCHASED MINE AT BUY.COM AND THEY SHIPPED OUT VERY FAST.
