Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Great party album, really solid and fun tracks.
Cons:repetitive beats in some songs.
The Bottom Line: Will Smith is a really good rapper and an all around good guy. I'd recommend this album to anyone.
Will Smith didn't ditch his clean fun image to go hardcore and gangsta like some pop/rap stars. He kept his ways and it paid off for him on his first album since he was with DJ Jazzy Jeff. His beats are catchy, funky and are easy to dance to. His lyrics are really clear rhyming and has a good vocal sound. A plus for some is that he doesn't swear at all on his CD, so this one is good for the whole family. His first single "Gettin Jiggy Wit It " is a great song to get on the dance floor and bust a move to. "Men In Black " is good lyrically with a laid back R&B beat. Other great tracks to listen to are "Just The Two Of Us " and "Miami ". Overall i'd advise that you get this album because its great to listen to and even better to dance or party to.
