Naked Women+Hot Motorcycles=Winning Combination

Pros:Naked Women, Motorcycles, Parties

Cons:Ads, Cost

The Bottom Line: This magazine is a lot of fun. Naked women and motorcycles rule.

There's no way to properly compare Biker Magazine to my subscription to Smithsonian, but I do get a lot of fantastic recipes from it, just like I do from Playboy. That's the main reason I read this publication, because I want my rhubarb pie to turn out perfect, while learning about blue ballsdesserts first hand. As a observant fan of motorcycles, due to being a responsible family man now(damn it!), I've always had a special spot in my heart for Harley Davidsons, Indians, and Triumph's. I could spend hours at a motorcycle show, and each museum that I've been to, my wife has literally had to drag me out of there. This type of drooling won't happen at an art museum, because a Rembrandt or Picasso can't compare to the shapely lines of beauty that a Fat Boy has. Plus, boobs and lots of beer are much better than a wine and cheese painting party!

Easy Rider
is perhaps the most popular motorcycle magazine, and it has been around for years. Sure, it features plenty of scantily dressed and/or topless women with motorcycles, but Biker Magazine has more to offer. Its produced by Easy Rider, and is the more perverted of the two, which is why I like it particularly so much. Each issue has lots of pretty women with bikes, as well as some softballs in socks mature women, that make me think of the Golden Girls in bikinis. I'm sort of joking on that, but there are a few older women, that while sexy and classy in their own way, I don't really want to look at. The nude beaches in Florida are fascinating, but I'm thinking an archaeological magazine would be more appropriate for that!

The main feature of this magazine is nudity, as there are few articles of substance in each issue. That's okay, as I love seeing some of the nude biker chicks with tattoos, because I love women with tattoos. Its very sexy to me, and since I have a few of my own, I don't mind sharing some ink! A lot of the pictures feature young beautiful women topless on classic motorcyles, and the articles that accompany them are written by an eighth grader. Seriously, you aren't going to learn a lot from the articles, but who cares? There are the basic specs on the bike featured, along with a blurb or two about the model featured with it. Usually there's one decent feature article though, that does actually look at a classic motorcycle from another era, and I am very appreciative of the ones on the Indian bikes from back in the 40's.

"Joey, do you like gladiator parties?"
That information isn't in this magazine, but each issue has a listing of where biker parties are held. They are broken down by state, and show which organization is throwing a biker fiesta. Some of these groups include the Christian Motorcycle Association, Fraternal Order of Police, Ladies of Harley, and Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club. There's not a lot of information in this section about what to expect, but there's a website listed for each one, so you can know if this would be a good time to leave Aunt Edna and the kids at home.

Some of the cartoons are hilarious! The art work in these is also junior high school quality, but some of the captions that go with the pictures have caused some serious belly busting laughs. There are also simple, juvenile cartoons in the Blowin' Chunks Section. This is where readers send in their jokes, for a chance to win $20 each month. Some of them are cruder than anything my sick, twisted mind could even imagine thinking up. Yet, they've almost always been funny, although they are the types of jokes that shouldn't be repeated in an office setting, unless you build Harley's for a living.

There's a lot of advertising in each issue. At least twenty five of each month's releases ninety some pages are ads, although at least they are appropriate for this publication. They feature tattoo establishments, bike repair kits, customization products, and bail bondsmen. I'm joking about the last one, but even though there's a lot of ads, I guess they have to raise revenue somehow with their exorbitant $6.99 cover price! That's right, that is the actual cost, which is a bit more than I generally like to pay for a magazine. Due to the fact that I like Biker Magazine, and have purchased several issues, I'm going to subscribe to them. You can sometimes find deals for $19.99 a year, so be sure to check around with online retailers.

I really like this publication, and think its a winning product. There's just something wonderful about combining naked women and motorcycles, because that's a diamondcutter recipe for success. It is sometimes a relief to reading something more physically than mentally stimulating. Each issue will give you an hour or two of "reading time", and so it makes for a fine value at the subscription price. Due to this magazine I'm planning on attending one of these biker parties, even if I have to borrow a Vespa Scooter to get into one. They look like a lot of fun, and just like this magazine shows, I'm hoping there will be plenty of wet t-shirt contests, booze, music, and bikes!
