My point, exactly. Revenge is sweet, isn't it?

And, in my case, there's not much I can do to get back at either my parents or my mother-in-law. I still feel fortunate my parents were patient with me, and my mother-in-law lives just a few miles from us and has been great about looking after the kids when my wife and I want to go to dinner or some other "date-like" thing.

So, my hands are tied. Damn Silly Putty.

Hawg, thanks for the timely reminder... (Reply to this comment)

to buy Silly Putty to put inside the plastic Easter eggs for the grandkids.

Your college/post college stories reminded me of a few things about my daughter. Her two little girls deserve Silly Putty in their Easter Baskets...heh-heh!

What's worse... (Reply to this comment)

What's worse than smashing it into Rover's fur is smashing it into Dad's "fur" while he's asleep.

May I say, "Ow."

But if you're the type with a mean streak, it's darn funny to watch him try to get it out!

A 5-star ROFLMAO review, dude.

You could have a couple of uses, indeed. These are the types of things I'll think about one day. Yes, I've just decided to sit back, wait and scheme...

Hmmm (Reply to this comment)

As a great grandma, I should be able to use this idea twice. Once for the grandparents (my kids) for their grandchildren to play with when they visit - and once for my grandsons who used to tell their parents that grandma ate all the cookies while she was baby sitting. Hmmm...

Then you, yes you can help stop the madness. Stand up as a grandparent and say "no" to Silly Putty!

Ah, you know exactly what I mean, then. My son is particularly bad about being destructive with simple, household items and toys.

I seem to have trouble with controlling access to about anything around my house. Unfortunately, my son is clever, sneaky and tends to wind up searching the house for any item he's not supposed to have. What's more, he's become handy at making rickety ladders, to you never know with that one...

You seem to have some issues with Silly Putty!! I only recently let my kids have Silly Putty in our house, and it is not something they have access to without an adult getting it for them and then putting it away when done. On the other hand, at their grandparents house, they have free access to the Silly Putty whenever they want :)

Heh! With the types of lawsuits flying around these days, you might just see a case like that.

Nah, I spent four years practicing law. I hope to never wind up in a court of law again.

In short, "I shall sue no more, forever."

Sweet memories? Oh, yes the sweet memories will, indeed, begin one day. They'll start about the time the kids grow up, manufacture some grandchildren, call and complain, "Dad! Come on. Quit sending the Silly Putty, huh? The children are going crazy with it!"

My nieces did the same things with this stuff; wrote on mirrors with it, smashed into cat's fur, forced fed to cat! lol Poor kitty. Great review, though!!! You add a lot of personality to it and you're very thorough.
