susiewho's Full Review: Bio Spot Flea & Tick Control for Dogs
We have two small Chihuahas ,a 5 pounder and an 8 pounder. We've been using Frontline without a problem for years but recently came across Bio Spot and after doing some reading I decided to give it a try on my smaller Chi. It's much less expensive and reviews I'd read were all positive.
BioSpot Flea and Tick Control for Dogs cost me $5.29 for what would be a 3 month supply for an ordinary dog. Since it is recommended for dogs 15 pounds and under and my guy is only 5 pounds I give him a 1/2 dose so obviously I get 6 months from a package. The package contains 3 doses, that makes it 6 doses for my purposes. (OK,and if Jonny gets off the train with 4 apples how long has he traveled?)
Comparative pricing found Frontline to be $27.00 for dogs under 22 pounds and Advantage $35.99 for dogs under 10 pounds on www.DrsFosterandsmith.com a great source of supplies for animals at excellent prices.BioSpot Flea and Tick Control for Dogs was only $5.29 for a package of three doses for dogs up to 15 pounds.

BioSpot Flea and Tick Control for Dogs gives you a lot of warnings so that's something to consider when choosing this product. I'm comfortable with all that and take precaution when I do my application. I live in a very wooded area a good part of the year so the comfort level I get from preventing ticks, mosquitos etc from attacking my dog is worth it. He has minimal to no fur so I can keep a sharp eye on his coat and have had no problems thus far.
I'm happy with BioSpot Flea and Tick Control for Dogs and feel comfotable recommending it as long as you familiarize yourself with the warnings and directions.
