Pros: Seems to work as well as any other toner
Cons: the scent and after-application "tingling effect"
The Bottom Line: Biore Deep Pore Toner is a strong product that may not be suitable for sensitive skin types.

Background:
I feel compelled to submit my "E-pinion" on Biore Deep Pore Toner after trying the product this week. I am 24 and have semi-dry skin. My normal facial skin-care routine involves using Loreal Eye make-up remover, washing my face with Nivea cleansing cream, applying toner (usually Nivea toner), and moisturizing with Oil of Olay night cream. After running out of my usual Nivea toner this week, I ran out to the store to pick up more - however, they were out, and I decided to try the Biore Deep Pore Toner instead.
Product review:
The Biore toner is an aqua blue colored liquid that claims to be "unscented" and to deep clean you skin all the way down to the pores. This claim enticed me to buy the product, as I figure my pores can always use more cleaning. After the start of my normal skincare routine, I took out the Biore toner to try it and was immediately aware of its pungent smell. The best scent that I can compare it to would be Vicks Vapo-Rub (the stuff you use for the flu). The scent alone should have been enough to make me close the bottle back up, however I attributed the odor to possible "tea tree oils" that were in the toner.
After applying the toner as you would any other (with a cotton pad), I was immediately aware of the "tingling" action. I have to say that "tingling" is somewhat of an understatement on Biore's part, as my face began to feel like it was being zapped all over with lasers. Again, this feeling was somewhat similar to what you feel when you apply Vick's Vapo-Rub for congestion. I had used the toner on my eyelids (careful not to get it in my eyes), and this part of my face seemed to be the most sensitive to the tingling action. The tingling sensation lasted approx 10 minutes, even though I had applied my moisturizer.
Wrap-Up:
Biore Deep Pore Toner is not for everyone. It is not a bad product, as it did what it advertised - functioned as a skin toner. However, if your skin is semi-sensitive, I would suggest testing the toner out on your hand, or just a small part of your face, first.
