Biore Facial Cleansing Cloths
First of all, I am a student, I don’t have a lot of cash to fling around, so although I was always curious about these cleansing cloths, I wasn’t going to fling away 8 bucks on something I wasn’t sure if I would like or not. My first pack of Biore cleansing cloths came free in a promotion pack from planetrx.com. I wound up loving them and when I ran out I bought more with my own money! For those of you who are not familiar with this product, they are pre-moistened cleansing cloths you use to wash your face, no rinsing needed, and then you just toss away the used cloth.
These cleansing cloths are wonderful because they are so convenient. Now usually I am a cleanser-and-water-at-the-sink woman when it comes to washing my face. But there were always a few times when I just couldn’t make it to the sink: after a late night of studying (or a social outing) when I was too tired, when I was sick and couldn’t make it out of bed, when the heating hadn’t kicked in yet and the idea of using water made me feel cold, when traveling, camping, etc. In the past I might have let my facial regimen slip in these instances, but with Biore facial cloths there is no reason for this to happen again! If you keep these by your bedside all it takes is a few hand motions to wipe your face and any makeup clean off of the face!
Now I know that there are many brands of these cloths out there. I have stuck with Biore, although they are expensive, because I found they worked with my skin. My skin is oily and prone to break outs, and I see a dermatologist and use Retin-A, which can cause some dry spots as well. I have to be very careful about what I put on my face; for example I stay away from facial masks because they always bring about blemishes. So I have found the Biore cloths to work well, leaving my skin feeling neither too dry nor too oily and keeping my complexion clear.
The drawback of this product is the price. I would not recommend replacing your regular face washing routine with the Biore cleansing cloths. With only 34 in a pack you would need to buy a new one almost every two weeks! But if you use them as I have described, keeping them around to use in those situations when you really need them, they last much longer and the cost doesn’t seem like such a problem.
