Pros: A relaxing, yet refreshing way to cleanse.
Cons: Does not exfoliate.
I love face masks, especially a mask that really makes your face feel cleansed and fresh. I have not had much luck with Biore products in the past but as I always say, one bad product does not mean they are all bad. In fact, Biores Pore Perfect Self Heating Mask was very satisfactory. I had never used a self-heating mask and was pleasantly surprised when I first used it. I bought this product at Walmart for $6.49.
This products green cardboard box contains eight separate applications in foil packets. The box also contained a brochure on other Biore products and a one dollar coupon for my next Biore purchase.
Butylene Glycol, Sodium Silicoaluminate, Kaolin, Peg-8, Methyl Gluceth-20, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Dimethicone, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Talc, Acrylates Copolymer, Polyethylene, BHT, Fragrance, Tetrasodium EDTA, Ultramarines
Devours shine and oil. A one-minute facial that opens pores and provides an intensive deep clean. Formulated with kaolin and zeolite, a clay that warms on contact with water to open pores and get out pore-clogging dirt, oil and makeup. Leaves skin shine free and radiant.
This product is dermatologist tested, hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic (wont clog pores).
Biores Refund guarantee:
The Pore Promise Guarantee: Better skin or your money back.
When it comes to bad skin, we dont mess around and neither should you. Just try any Biore product for one week and if youre not satisfied with the results, well give your money back including the product price, taxes and postage.
This offer is online only at www.biore.com, not on the product package itself. The fine print is so vague that I am not sure if refunds are only offered until July, 2005 or the time limit changes every few months.
This product is green, thick and sticky. The face must be wet for it to be effective and dry fingers are best for application. The stickiness makes it a little awkward. If you use small amounts instead of big blobs, by using a circular motion, you can make an even layer on the face avoiding the tender eye area.
This product claims that it exfoliates. I dont think it has time to exfoliate. It takes barely a minute and a half until it turns blue. Plus the exfoliating properties are practically non-existent. The mask heats upon contact and creates a hot, then warm glow over the face which is very relaxing. Not only does it give this effect but at the same time it opens the pores to clean out dirt, grime and makeup. This mask does not dry, it turns blue. Once it turns blue, it is time to wash it off. Again because of its stickiness, this is also a hardy task so make sure any long hair is tied back off the face. I always use cold water to rinse. After rinsing, my face feels really clean, soft and relaxed but not moisturized enough, so I add my own moisturizer.
I really like this mask. It is a refreshing but also relaxing addition to my cleansing regimen. I have mixed skin type with oily, upper cheeks which is a problem area for small blackheads, I know, yuck. This product helps me to keep them at bay by using it once a week. I would not recommend it without a moisturizer and its promise of exfoliation is false as far as I am concerned. However, it is refreshing and soothing and it does cleanse deeply enough to remove oil from the pores and put a distinct stop to blackheads. Because of this I am giving four stars.
