Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser
I just had to have Biore's Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser since the other warming cleanser I loved was discontinued. I was so happy to see someone else make this type of product since I had success with it in the past. It was a little tricky to find but once I found it I bought a few bottles just in case, once again, they took it off the shelves too.
Packaging
You'll find this on the facial cleanser aisle in a sea foam green tube. It has a clear, flip top that the tube rests on so you get every bit of product.Its available in a 6.25 ounce tube for around 7.00 dollars, but be warned a little goes a long long way.
Biore Claims:
Heats & Treats, Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, Oil-Free, Self-heating cleanser warms to target pore-clogging dirt and oil, Helps prevent new blackheads from forming.
Directions for Use
Wet Face. Dry hands and squeeze product into palm. Massage over entire face. Rinse thoroughly.
The Product
Don't squeeze the tube too hard or you will get more product then you will ever need. A dime sized amount of this thick, gooey, pearly white cleanser is all you'll need to wash your face & neck.
The scent is wonderful. Most cleansers like this have a medicinal scent that is a little funky. This smells like fresh pears and/or apples and I just love the way it feels on my face and the scent!
The directions state to dry your hands, which is a little difficult if you're using this in the shower. I've found the product doesn't heat up when in contact with water but when massaged into your hands or face, so place a small amount in your palm then massage into your skin.
It starts to heat immediately! And it's HOT! So be careful, if your skin is sensitive it may not care for all that heat, I know my husband cannot use it because it irritates his face. Me, I love the heating factor and feel as though I'm getting a facial each time I wash my face.
It doesn't truly lather up but goes on evenly, and still feels heavy & thick on your face. You can tell its there and it rinses away clean. Don't expect your skin to feel squeaky after use, it doesn't seem to strip your skin of essential oils. However it does treat blemishes and blackheads while keeping them at bay also.

Overall
This is a great cleanser!
Be warned if you're prone to dry skin this may dry it out even more. Most (such as my sister) who have used it for more than a few weeks see this side effect disappear, but if irritation occurs stop using immediately.
If you have blackhead prone skin, or just blemishes in general it'll take a few weeks to see any noticeable improvement but you will see it. In my case, I only have an occasional blemish and a few blackheads and it works wonderfully in stopping & preventing them.
However anything that lies beneath the surface of your skin will be brought up by this cleanser. I had a terrible breakout the first few weeks of use but it cleared almost right away. I had a few clogged pores and Biore's Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser got rid of all the dirt and oil that had been laying dormant in my pores.
Its a little pricey but for the amount you have to use in order to clean your face thoroughly it well worth the money and isn't too much more than any other cleanser similar in treating bad skin.
I highly recommend it for the fun factor (the heat is neat!) and the fact it treats & prevents breakouts wonderfully!
