james528's Full Review: Bissell 76T8 Versus™ Bagless Upright Vacuum
I bought this to use on my hardwood floors. The vacuum picked up everything, including plant debris, hair, dust, dirt, crumbs, etc. The V shaped front makes it really easy to get around furniture, without having to move everything. I didn't find this vacuum to be any louder than my traditional one that I use on the carpets, so that didn't bother me. The cord could be a bit longer, but in my 500 square feet of hardwoods, I only had to unplug it once. So that's really no big deal. It got in the corners and the edge of the floors very easily, and the added bonus of the crevice tool is extra convenient.
I also use this on my bathroom tile floors. It picks up all the hair on the floor, and even worked on the bathmat. I wouldn’t use this on carpets, but it does say low-pile carpets are ok. Because the vacuum only weighs about 13 pounds, it’s very easy to pick it up and move it from room to room. I had no problems taking this up and down a flight of stairs to get all the bathroom floors. Much easier to carry than my standard vacuum!
All in all, I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for an inexpensive solution to vacuum hardwood floors, without scratching or damaging them. I paid $60 at my local Target store and consider that money well spent.
