Great Vacuum

I had a dearly loved Bissell Cleanview for over 10 years before the motor finally burned out. My neighbor was moving and offered me her old vacuum, and even though it wasn't the "top of the line" Bissell as I'd had before, it was perfect timing for accepting a second-hand offering.
All the hoses and brush cleaners are pretty much the same as other models; I do like the foot operated power switch. The electrical cord is on the left side, which is kinda awkward for a lefty like me but really no big deal to get used to in the long run.
I do like the fact that it has a narrower clean path as compared to some of the newer models. I would estimate it at about 13 inches and with some vacuums the path is up to 16 inches, which makes it tough to get under small pieces of furniture without moving them. I'm the ultimate lazy cleaner and if I don't have to move a table to clean under it I'm happy.
So far, this has performed almost as well as my Cleanview; the only con it being a bit more difficult to clean the filters. I have three long haired cats and it picks up every hair they care to shed, and then some. I have to vacuum 2-3 times per week and this unit is holding up fine. Couldn't be happier at this freebie and when it finally conks out I'll definitely buy another Bissell!
