Pros: Lightweight, Powerful, Easy to Use,
Cons: Autofeed spool doesn't always let enough wire through, Trigger easy to accidently trip
The Bottom Line: I would strongly recommend this trimmer to anyone. It is very easy to use,lightweight and does an excellent job trimming any length of grass.

I recently moved int a house that required me to purchase a trimmer. Although the area to be trimmed is quite extensive, i bought the electric grass hog because i don't like fiddling with gas/oil mixtures and,most of all, it had automatic feed trimmer spool. Using this trimmer is a sheer delight, it is very lightweight and has great egronomics for just about anyone to use and doesn't produce much noise. Not to mention no stinky exhaust fumes to suffer. I had thought since this was electric there would not be much power to it.WRONG!!. This trimmer does and outstanding job at neatly cutting grass and will easily cut through even the most dense growth with no protest from the motor. Although the automatic feed trimmer is a great conveinence, it does not always let out enough trimmer wire. Also, it is somewhat expensive to replace the automatic spool,but worth the cost just for the conveinence of not having to "bump" every few feet. I have not used this as an edger so i can't honestly comment on how well it will work. The only real gripe i have about this product, is that carrying it about the yard it is very easy to accidently trigger the power switch.
