This Black and Decker ten speed mixer is the best for the money that you can find on the market today. If you do not want to have and expensive model just sitting around collecting dust and too only be used once in a while, then this is perfect for you. You can find this at any retail store that sells Black and Decker products for only twenty to twenty five dollars. Black and Decker have been in business for several years and they have an excellent reputation behind them.

Description
This blender stands approximately thirteen inches in height and is 12” by 9” and only weighs about ten pounds. The pitcher on top will hold 42 ounces and is made of glass and with just a quick twist will sit down and lock into place securely. This will sit very stable on top of your counter and the vibration that this makes will be minimal. There are ten speeds to choose from, with slanted buttons on the face of the base make it easier to use than other models. Along with running at a steady speed this model has a button for a shot of a pulse or burst of power while trying to use this blender. The blades that come with this are made totally of stainless steel and will not rust and the whole top and blades is dishwasher safe. This has 450 watts of power and that is enough to give you plenty of crushed ice for your parties.

Experiences
If you have a lot babies or small children around your house then you could save a lot of money by making your own baby food for them. This also can be used to crush ice for snow cones or just plain crushed ice for parties. We have made salsa and lots of smoothies for our grandchildren and they love when they come over to our house knowing that they are going to get a tasty treat. This also makes for a nice affordable wedding gift that they will get years of use out of. You can also pureeing soups and most of all they have all tasted very good. If you have a cook book there are several recipes that this blender will come in handy to use. Since the top is made of glass I think that this make the food taste a lot better, other than the plastic ones. The only problem since this is made of glass is that you will have to be careful not to let the kids get a hold of it because one drop on the floor and you can kiss this good by. That is probably why I like it so much and that is because if it get broke you are not out a lot money and all you have to do is just replace the whole unit.

Because this is white in color, after you use this usually there will be some splatter that you will probably get on the base of this unit but it will wipe clean very easily with a damp cloth as long as you do not wait forever to wipe it clean. Once you get done using this it is better to run some hot water inside the container on top and this way it would clean out all of the little crevices that the pulp would get stuck into. Then you can stick it into the dishwasher and you will be sure that these parts will be clean for the next time you use this blender.

Conclusion
I have found this to be an excellent blender and we have gotten a lot of use out of this and we have even given this as a wedding gift. This is also still working for them just as long as ours is. You can not lose in this purchase; this is very well made and is inexpensive. Five stars for this model you will not be disappointed.
