Pros: Easy to use

Cons: Messy, poorly located on/off button, output hole clogs with dark roasts

The Bottom Line: Don't buy it unless you're willing to do a lot of cleaning after you grind coffee. (I did it on a towel to help with cleanup.)

I asked for this as a gift because it looked like it would be less messy than the blade grinder I had. WRONG! It throws statically charged coffee particles all over the place. I usually used it on a beach towel to make cleaning up easier. Also, whenever I picked it up, I inadvertently turned it on: the on button is right on the neck where it's natural to grab it. Finally, the chute where the coffee comes out of the grinder and goes into the cup gets clogged quickly when grinding a dark (and therefore oily) roast. I finally donated it to a charity and am glad I found this page!
