Why did I buy this product:- I was looking for a birthday present for a brother , who had a heavy messy gas blower.
I am an old lady and loved this light weight tool,and bought one for my self , it did a great job till the small fan broke. (a month after the warrantee ran out) It's a $7 part and would cost about $50 with shipping. That's almost what I paid new.
It's a small plastic part and not stocked in hardware stores nearby, even in Home Depot, where I bought it. Why is there no stock of the plastic parts, those are the ones that break.
It had limited usage, sweeping out the garage and lanai once a month and no children to play with it or to drop it . Although it worked fine at first, I can't recommend this tool although the 18 v has more power it has the same plastic part. Jackie Lamphier NorthPort Fl.
