Pros:Light weight, ease of conversion, well balanced
Cons:Vac feature can suck up more than it can handle in the mulching area
Two days before the purchase I had borrowed a neighbor's leaf blower and found it vastly underpowered and cumbersome. While in a Home Depot, I spotted the Leaf Hog (BV2500). I picked it up, and it was extremely light, so light that working it one-handed was a breeze.

The entire front of the unit clicks off to switch between blower and vac/mulch feature. It comes with a shoulder bag or you can purchase the long flex hose attachment. I was going to get the Toro 210 MPH model, but it didn't have the 10 to 1 mulching ratio that the Leaf Hog had. So I settled for this 200 MPH model.
Switching between blow and vac is easy and safe. Unless the switch is in the off position, you cannot disengage the front of the unit. 200 MPH is perfect for my yard. I have a lot of trees including my neighbor's trees, so the 200 MPH speed is ideal for the low price of about $68.00. It even has a second hand hold to ease the operation.
The blower attachment easily blew leaves from around yard toys, bushes, and trees. It even was able to blow those stubborn pine needles that have a habit of clinging to the grass. The downside is by the time you are done, you are covered in debris, your pockets and sneakers have debris inside of them, and you desperately need a shower.
The vac/mulch attachment easy sucks up and mulches leaves and even pine cones and small twigs. The shoulder bag can fill up quickly if you have a lot to do. Sometimes you'll have to shut down though to clear the end of the nozzle which twigs can go across sideways and clog the entrance. The main drawback of this feature it that it can suck up larger twigs which can jam inside and make distressing noises. This is easily cleared by shutting off the unit and removing the attachment where the offending twig is usually right there to pull out and toss away.
If you want a powerful blower and a mulching vac, which is good for the garden, and do not want to spend a lot of money, I recommend this. The price is right, and the balance and weight is excellent. if you have several acres, you should invest in professional equipment or a landscaper.
It's a beautiful piece of equipment, and it makes the dredging work of leaf removal much easier. I would recommend it to just about anyone.
