All you need for Alpine or Ice!

Pros: Cheap, Simple, Durable

The Alpine Bod is really the only harness you'll ever need for Ice or Alpine climbing. Sure their are other fancier harnesses out there - some of them even weigh just as little. Non of them can compare to the simplicity of the Alpine Bod - no Harness Racking Loops (you can add 2, but even then they're placement isn't the most useful, and they're small, so you'd need to rack on your shoulder anyway) - it's got easily adjustable legs - with a minute bit of practice you can even take off a pair of pants with the waist belt still on! For rock routes, of any duration, it's not the best choice - get something with more padding - but for Ice, it's nice!
