My husband and I received a Black and Decker All-In-One HorizontalTM Automatic Breadmaker for Christmas from his mother. I read the directions and found them to be direct and easy to follow!
There are six buttons (settings) that control the baking time, depending on the type of bread you will be making. These buttons range from basic to sweet or whole wheat bread. A control pad lets you choose the color of crust you desire; I usually set mine for 'regular', since I prefer my crust soft but chewy.
While I was making my first loaf of bread, I just loved the smell of baked bread filling my kitchen! My neighbor even knocked on my door, and asked me, "What is that delightful smell?"
I love this machine because it is easy to use. My mother in law was thoughtful enough to include four boxes of bread mixes with the breadmaker. The preparation time with the store bought bread mixes, takes two minutes. I just simply pour the designated amount of water into the breadmaker, then add the mix, followed by the package of yeast contained in the bread mix box. I then start the machine after I have pressed the appropriate setting for the bread I am making, and then 2 hours later I have a fresh hot loaf of bread!
The machine is easy to keep clean, and can be placed on any countertop in my kitchen. I would like to add that every loaf of bread that I have made has been devoured by the end of the day! A perfect loaf of bread is produced each time!
