Pros:Very dependable; solidly built; plenty of power; roomy deck; quiet operation.
Cons:No fenders for times you get caught in the rain.
The Bottom Line: If you want a durable, easy to operate scooter that is loads of fun, this is the one. Parts are readily available, and lots of accessories are available.
I purchased my Bladez 40cc Moby XL in the spring of 2004, and have enjoyed it immensely. It is rigid, well built, and easy to operate.

It has a large roomy deck that easily accommodates an adult rider. The front disk brake has plenty of stopping power, and the large 10" pneumatic tires make for a smooth easy ride.
The rear wheel is belt driven for long life and quiet operation. The 40cc engine provides plenty of get-up-and-go, with enough torque to pull it up hills with a minimum loss of speed. It is quite fast (around 25 MPH), so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under the age of 13 or so.
There are plenty of go-fast parts available, both from the manufacturer and aftermarket sources. High performance parts available include carburetors and tuned exhaust pipes.
Many dress up accessories are also available, ranging from billet aluminum decks and chromed air filters to anodized pull-start handles and gas caps.
I have ridden my scooter well over 1000 miles (about 50 hours of use) and haven't had any problems with the scooter. The two belts that make up the drive system have held up very well, and look like they will last another 1000 miles. Replacement belts run about $30 for the pair.
The bearings on the clutch recently began to rattle, and upon inspection I have discovered they have worn out and need replaced. I have priced the replacement bearings at about $20.
The only thing I can say I am dissatisfied with is the lack of fenders. The scooter is NOT intended to be ridden in wet weather, but occasionally, you get caught out in the rain. The lack of fenders, especially a REAR fender, means you get spray from the rear wheel up your backside. MOST uncomfortable.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with the scooter, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable and easy to operate scooter.
