From the looks of it this sub is beautiful with its spun aluminum cone and chrome dipped cast aluminum basket. But beauty is only aluminum skin deep. It offers a wealth of bass and sonic superiority that no other 10 inch on the market can touch as far as I'm concerned.
They can play incredibly deep and tremendously loud with any music from and amp that is capable of driving it. The bass out put from bass 305 was astoundingly sharp and accurate. It hit every bass note with clarity that was far beyond competition level. The power output was off the charts for a 10 inch sub( around 350wrms) and the level of bass was enough to make my car swell.
The durability factor is also very high, leaning towards the eternal longevity of the supernatural. That's what this sub is truly supernatural. No other 10 on the market can touch it because its able to take a lot of power and turn it into remarkable bass that is felt all the way down to 18Hz and heard a mile away.
The surrounds add to the life of the sub, which are rubber of course. The magnet structure is huge as well as the voice coil( the heart of the sub).
