Blistex Medicated Lip Balm is the choice of lip balms. Its gentle texture and cool scent, make it number one in my book! I first bought this product after using a friend's. My lips were dry and in pain and the only thing that seemed to work, was the Blistex Medicated Lip Balm. It soothed them and helped the dead skin to come off. My lips had never felt better. They healed fast and stayed soft.
The Product
Blistex Medicated Lip Balm is a lip protectant and sunscreen. It helps protect against sunburn and chapped lips and also the drying effects of wind and cold weather. Its active ingredients are: dimethicone, oxybenzone, padimate. It has an SPF of 15.
Packaging
The lip balm comes in a forest green colored tube with the Blistex slogan/symbol. It comes in a .15 oz. tube and is packaged in the same forest green box and gives information on the product.
Pricing
Blistex Medicated Lip Balm averages to be about 99 cents. It can be found in almost all grocery stores, in the medication aisles or by the cash registers.
This product has helped my dry, chapped lips, so much! When my lips are bleeding or cut, I reach right for my Blistex Medicated Lip Balm. It seems to be the only things that gets my lips back to normal and in soft, kissing shape! I use this lip balm, when my lips need a pick me up. My lips get to their dryest point, when the seasons change. If I use the lip balm everyday, continually, it lasts me about a month. If the lip balm gets hot, it can easily be overused. I know that with any lip balm, that can happen, but this one seems to melt bad. If you're like me, I like to put a good amount on my lips. When it is even slightly melted, pushing to hard on your lips, can be a nightmare. You will have enough lip balm on your lips, to last you a week.
