I recently purchased the Bergan Turboscratcher Cat Toy as a holiday gift. I bought it over at the website walmart.com; it is the model # 70128 from Bergan and have to state unequivocally that I am very satiated with this purchase. My sister's cat has now had hours and hours of entertainment with this wonderful little toy.

It cost me $11.98 at walmart.com. It has a round, track-like apparatus in which a little ball is inside. The cat hits the ball with its' paw and the fun begins! It goes around in circles ( not the cat but the ball! ) and we all know how cats like playing with balls and are intrigued and mesmerized by circular motions so she just looks at it going around. It is so funny to see.

Inside the track, it has a surface that contains catnip. The cat will throw herself on the middle and rolls around it in ectsasy! Your cat will use it for hours. The scratch pad inside provides a great material for the cat to roll around on and as we know the cats really like when they are brushed so this is something really they will enjoy immensely. My sister has had this item in the house for now nearly a month and the cat still enjoys it a whole lot. A nice side benefit is that instead of scratching your household furniture, you cat will use this toy for their needs.

This also provides wonderful exercise for the cat as they will play feverishly with this toy. The cat jumps, paws, and moves around a lot and really seems to enjoy herself with it. Cats tend to be rather lazy so this type of activity is very healthy for the feline. You will see lots of movement.

Now, a quick little word of advice - you may want to place the turboscratcher toy away in storage at night. When I first bought the product, my sister told me she was awakened at 4 in the morning by a whirling sound. She said the cat was playing with the toy at night....she said it was a good lesson learned as now it put into the closet at night or the ball is removed from it.
