Diablo 2 action figures far surpassed the Starcraft figures in their detail and in their energetic poses. They released three figures to accompany the game, Diablo, the Barbarian, and the Unraveler. This review is about the Unraveler. I've killed of a few of them.
The Unraveller is about the same size as all the other figures except Diablo which is the biggest and has a lot of detail. I just watched a special on Mummies and the way his skin was designed is really similar to Egyptian Mummies. It looks as if the skin is just pulled across the bone and a little muscle. He has a few snakes coming out of his abdomen and down his legs. They're green and they contrast nicely with the red hue of his skin. The Unraveler is wearing sandals and a loin cloth and has bracelets and other jewlery on him. He is also adorned with a big head dress that has dread locks flailing out from the back. He has an animal skull for a face, maybe a Jackal I don't know, with a tongue.
The Unraveller's jaw opens, his head turns a bit and he moves at his hips, waist, shoulders and wrists. He comes with a staff crowned with a Cobra head and has a green snake on it. His right arm ends in a blade that appears to be made out of his own forearm. His left hand has a hole in the palm where you can insert one of two pegs on the staff to make him hold it. The combination of his flowing locks, wide spread stance, and his staff (not microphone) makes him look like something straight out of the eighties glam rock scene. He's a pretty cool figure but it's hard not to make him look "Cheesy" because of this. My only other problem is that he's another Blizzard figure that's tricky to stand. I recommend him to all hard core Diablo 2 players and children who like monsters.
