| arbiter's Full Review: Blizzard Action Figures |
Starcraft figures were good but they lacked a lot of detail. The action figures that accompanied Diablo 2 have excellent detail and have way more dynamic poses. The three figures released are Diablo, the Unraveler, and the Barbarian. While all three look great they all have a problem balancing at times. I've already written reviews about the other two figures so this on is about the Barbarian.
The Barbarian looks like that he's ready to do some slaying with his wide spread stance and feral expression. He also has a shaved head except for the long black pony tail and a blue tattoo down the side of his face. He's not equipped with any of the killer armour that he gets later in the game. He's outfitted in basic clothing(some kind of kilt) with limited armour padding. He's got big fur boots up to his knees and he comes with a dagger that can be held in the right boot. The Barbarian also comes with a shield, an axe and a sword. He can hold one weapon at a time in a holder on his back. The axe and sword can't be held in either hand, one hand for each because of the peg on the weapon and hole in the hand system used. This is a good system but I know one guy who's had the peg break off his axe. I know another guy who had the thumb break off too. Keep this in mind if you buy this figure.
Over all the Barbarian is a good figure and he has the most dynamic pose of the three. If your okay with possibility of parts breaking then I recommend getting this figure. He's great for Diablo two players as well as D& D fans and kids who like this type of action figure.
