| gclanyc's Full Review: Blue Water Grill |
The food at the Blue water grill is as pretty as the restaurant itself.
On Restaurant row in Union Square, NYC, this is a great find. It is trendy and classy at the same time, with a unabtrusive Jazz band on the lower level. The service is very attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is extensive with a long list of daily specials. The wine list is extensive. I have been there with friends who are in sales of fine wines, and they were very impressed with the selection.
The Food.
I don not recommend going here is you are not a seafood eater. While they do have a few non seafood based dishes,You will not be enjoying the best this restaurant has to offer. The fish is fresh, tasteful and wonderfully prepared. The side dishes are plentiful. The appetizers are enough to share. Sushi rolls, and dumplings are among my favorites.
As for crowd, It is good for a group, as well as a romantic dinner for two. It is definitely not a cheap night out Dinner and drinks will run you about $80pp.
