I received this violin case as a gift for my birthday and it is probably the most beautiful and well-made case I have ever seen.

The case is made of the shiny fiberglass and comes in a variety of colors such as orange, yellow, pink, green, blue, purple, white, black etc. The inside can be either velvet or velour and come in blue, tan and silver. I have the velour and it's great. It doesn't seem cheap at all.

The case also comes with a padded cover which is great for keeping the case scratch free. The websites say that you will get a black or blue cover, but my case came with a pink cover that matches the shade of the case. I actually was counting on a black cover because it would make the case look more professional when needed at orchestra concerts etc. The pink is a little wild for some types of events.

The interior is heavily padded and molded to fit the violin perfectly. There is a very large accessory compartment inside which holds lots of rosin, tuners etc. There is also lots of room around the neck to store a shoulder rest which is important. There is also a string tube, two bow holders, a humistat and hygrometer. The padded cover has a large accessory pocket as well which can store books and sheet music.

There were a few flaws I found with this product. When the case arrived, I noticed the string tube is very tight in it's holder. It is leaving an indentation which will eventually lead to a rip in the velour, so I keep it loose behind the bow holders instead. Also, the padded cover can become a pain because it is constantly slipping off the case when you open and close it. It isn't attached anywhere to the case it just sits there and thus comes off extremely easily with any movement if it isn't zipped up all the way. You have to unzip it almost fully in order to open the case. The last flaw is that the case is pretty heavy compared to others. However, this is probably also a great thing because it will protect the violin better.

Since getting this case I have not had to tune my violin with the pegs once. It is protecting my violin not only from damage, but also from temperature and humidity changes as well. This is an excellent product that looks fantastic and truly stands out from the crowd while expressing your personality. I would definitely purchase this product again and I'm considering it for my electric violin!
