| ddustyrose's Full Review: Bodycology Sweet Petals Hand and Body Lotion Perso... |
I came across bodycology sweet petals hand and body lotion when shopping at Walmart and loved the smell. I've emptied 2 tubes of lotion and didn't feel guilty buying a new one. Before buying, I did squirt a small amount on the top my hand and rubbed it in. The smell was pleasant and my skin seemed to absorb it well (you really can‘t tell a lot about lotions when a small amount is used). According to bodycology sweet petals hand and body lotion, it moisturizes with a light fragrance, has the heavenly scent of sweet peas mingled with berries, and has beneficial ingredients to give you a brighter spirit and positive outlook. Beneficial ingredients included protective aloe vera, moisturizing shea butter and nourishing antioxidant Vitamins E & C.
bodycology is a trademark of Advanced Beauty Systems and according to their website they don't test on animals. My skin is settling into maturity (it's not as supple as it once was) and does best with a deep moisturizing lotion. I like something that's going to stay on for awhile and not wash off or wear off almost instantly.
OK, let's see how good this lotion is. I've never used bodycology before so I'm not familiar with the brand. The fragrance is nice so it appeals to my senses. It is smooth and feels silky. Too bad there doesn't seem to be enough moisturizers to deeply penetrate and leave my skin feeling soft. It slides on my skin and does eventually disappear, but not quickly enough. It absorbs quicker when I wave my hands to air dry them. When I'm in a hurry to get out of the house, this irritates me.
Sweet smelling petals alone isn't worth the cost. It doesn't work well on my skin but if your skin is younger, and not so dry, it may work for you.
I'm sure I'll keep using it until it's gone, but I won‘t be buying another bottle.
