Very poor workmanship. Crib slats warped causing safety issue. Rails must be purchased separately for conversion to toddler bed and for full sized bed. Bed height for full sized bed too high for child less than 10-once mattress and box spring added top of mattress is over 3 feet off ground with standard sizes. Paint/stain wears off easily. Lengthy time (4-6 weeks) for replacement parts or new parts for crib. Poor customer service. Hardware does not stay tightened. Must tighten and retighten periodically for safety. Crib is expensive and is supposed to be manufactured by an "italian" company. Crib is manufactured by La Jobi Industries in New Jersey who contracts with chinese and vietnamese companies to actually make, stain and deliver the cribs. Replacement parts and or rails for conversions are expensive. I should mention that after threatening to call the CSPC, BBB, and the JPMA about the crib slats being warped, I was first sent a "replacement footboard" which was also warped. My local retailer got involved and convinced them to send me a new crib. When I received it, it was totally different (they had contracted with the vietnamese company then) and did not match the dresser I had-totally different color and style. My retailer took a hit and gave me a new dresser out of their stock to match the new crib. Otherwise I would have furniture that does not match. Total purchase price for crib $400, for toddler rail $80, for rails for full size $40, rails to convert to full sized $150 plus the cost of crib mattress then full sized mattress. This is not a cost effective way to get baby furniture that will "grow" with your child. Better off purchasing a inexpensive crib, toddler bed then twin or full sized or even queen bed than this. Very unsatisfied with La Jobi and their products and will never purchase again from them.
