The Letters of Arthur Conan Doyle: Unmasking (sort of) the Man Behind Sherlock Holmes

Written: Feb 11 '09

Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0
Pros: Reveals a side of Doyle few of us realized existed (body armor developer? avid cricketer?)

Cons: The letters dry up during the creation of Sherlock Holmes

The Bottom Line: Conan Doyle had an uncomfortable relationship with his creation--most of us already know that--but this biography goes even deeper into the Edwardian-era mind
