Pros: Entertaining from start to finish. Well written for teenagers and adults alike.
Cons: If you detest love stories, you will have to bear with that a bit.
Suzanne Collins has done it again with the 2nd book in her extremely popular and successful trilogy. It picks up exactly where The Hunger Games left off and doesn't miss a single detail. The story begins to sew itself into a quilt of confusion and plot twists, keeping you on the edge of your seat the entire time. You won't want to put this book down until you hit the last page, and even then you will have a desire to immediately go out and purchase the final book. The plot twists will surprise you at every turn and you won't know what to expect next. This book is ridiculously addicting and will have you wishing you could live in the story so you could talk to the characters and ask the so many questions that you are bound to have! You will find yourself connecting with Katniss, Peeta, and all of the other main characters in a way that not many authors can achieve through writing. The new characters introduced into the story have so much individuality and are not simple, cookie-cutter type characters that you can find in any story. As soon as you begin reading this book, go out and buy yourself the final book so you can begin it immediately after finishing Catching Fire because you won't want to wait!
