Looking for a series to get you excited? Something that hasn't been done before? Then I would say this should be the next book that you pick up to read. It's the first in a three part series and is nothing short of exceptional. It follow the story of a young girl in her venture after she surrenders to take her sisters place in a "lottery" for the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games itself is where 2 children from each district are placed in an arena and forced to kill until their is only one remaining. The Victor. It literally is a fight to the death. This person then goes on to live a life of luxary instead of living a life of struggle like accustomed. But what happened when this young girl falls in love with the boy she is put into competition with from the same district, remember there can be only one winner. So what happens when you have to fight not only for your own life, but the one of who you love? 
The hunger games offers everything a reader is looking for, it takes you ona  roller coster of emotions, from feeling sorry for characters, to hoping other are killed. There is betrayal, love, intrique, and danger. There is never a dull moment and the reader will never see just what is coming next. So do you dare, to play the hunger games?
