Review: Dear John is a tear jerking, and heart touching book.  The chapters are a tad long, but extremely well written. The characters in the book are very well portrayed. The characters range from the lashing out child to the goody two shoes child.  There is a large variety of characters. In my opinion, this is one of the best books that I've ever read.  Also, I think that this book is Nicholas Spark's best, and most enjoyable book that he has ever written.  It's understandable and any one from highschool and older would enjoy this romance novel. It's a book that you cannot compare to any other.  I recommend this book to any women who adore a love novel ! I bought this book two and a half weeks ago and it's so hard to put down.  This book makes me happy and excited about finding my first love.  I like how the author, Nicholas Sparks, explains there passion for each other.  The only downside about this book is that the chapters are a bit too long.  Other than that, it's a beautiful romance novel. Ladies, make sure you have a box of tissues by your side when you read this outstanding book.  I do not recommend this book for men unless they like romance novels.
