Well done (Reply to this comment)

I gotta admit, you have summed up the whole scenario of the whole book in a very nifty fashion. Very well done. As for the book, i completely agree with you. It truly is a spectacular book. One of the best, best sellers of all time. The good thing is that it leaves you aching to know the end which is the next and the last book. I think it lived up very well to its hype. I was disappointed with many aspects of the book like when Harry's mentor, Dumbledoor, died saving Harry. I would recommend it to anyone who is into fantasy and would definitely recommend it to children who love to read up on heroic stories. The best part is, we see Harry (the protagonist) come to age.

I read your review when I was just finishing "The Goblet of Fire" where I noticed a real change in the experiences Harry had gone through reflecting that fact that he was growing up. I chose to go with your positive thoughts on the review rather than the ones that dwelled on the emotional struggles the books pull you through.
You are right, the book is fantastic. I have never been so wrapped up in reading in my whole life. Now I am left with a hunger for the next book.
Thanks for the great review!

Heh, unfortunately I was white water rafting when this came out, and I had already been away from home for a week, so I couldnt' get it first thing :( I'm working on getting it though, I love the first four books, and I love the movies.
Great review, I really enjoyed reading it :)

There was a line out the door of the Wordsworth's in Harvard Square so long that it looked like Studio 54 if people went clubbing in capes.
I'm glad it was worth the wait!

I have to tell you - Harry Potter isn't my cup of tea. My husband though, is a huge fan and when the book arrived from Amazon yesterday, he practically met the mailman at the door :). I'll let you know when he comes up for air - he's currently obsessed with reading the book at the moment.
Great review chickie - as always - it's nice to read someone who doesn't spoil the "surprises".
