Haunted Party is a very enjoyable children's book for Halloween. It's not scary at all, but helps teach about counting up from one to 10 and then from 10 down to one in a fun and entertaining way with lots of ghosts and goblins and everything associated with our favorite haunted night of the year.

This cute book is full of smiling ghosts (the host ghost is seen wearing a black bow tie), two spooky dancing skeletons, and three partying goblins. There is a full moon outside, bats flying around and some crooked RIP headstones too.
There is a fun, party scene drawn in great detail -- complete with worm snacks, and eyeball snacks. That might sound strange, but it's done in a fun, and not a scary way and is totally fitting with its Halloween theme.
There are: 4 wild werewolves 5 vile vampires 6 ghastly ghouls 7 mean monsters 8 wretched witches 9 morbid mummies and...10 cute children!
This haunted party has everything -- even vampires, who bob for apples, (which is a lost art), and pumpkins everywhere.
The teaching numbers count down in the second half of the book, as the goblins, vampires and the guests of the party are scared away by the ten cute children, an interesting twist on the Halloween theme. It's a great way to get into the Halloween spirit.
This delightful children's Halloween book is 25 pages in length.
The illustrations are fun, drawn in great detail and are full of color.
