Duesberg is right -- one of the largest hoaxes in history (Reply to this comment)
by kloren
Duesberg is not only qualified but his logic is inescapable.
My own article on the subject of the AIDs virus asks, "Can you kill a stone?"
The virus is not alive, not because some scientist says that is so, but because countless medical dictionaries define "life" as having characteristics that the virus does not have -- such as ability to move, take in food, react, etc.
If the virus is not alive how can it be killed?
That is the simple logic that should be plain to any honest person.
This hoax is more sinister. I believe drug companies knew they were promoting a hoax by seeking and getting grant money to "kill the virus." Why? Because they wanted to get money.
Put up a false villain, get money, spend money, find a drug that prolongs life in a terrible condition and does not cure -- in other words, manage the disease, don't cure it.
The cure? As Duesberg says. Change behavior.

I'm also curious about... (Reply to this comment)

The study done in Russia (I believe) that showed women who acted as wet nurse to babies who had aids - how did they (the woman) get Aids? Because of the saliva in all of the infants they nursed? I wouldn't think it would be the same number as prostitutes would be in contact with.
It is interesting to see how many directions the study of a disease must go in - in order to find the cause.

Just curious... (Reply to this comment)

...as to where babies who contract AIDS in utero fit into this theory. After all, it's awfully hard to use IV drugs and have multiple sex partners before one is born...

I really think its a possibility. Of the hundreds of "AIDS" patients that I have been in contact with in my life, I would estimate that 75% of them have had major problems with drugs. This includes my uncle and aunt who both are living with the complications today. Like drug use, years contact with foreign bodily fluid, as in the case of prostitutes and hemophiliacs, continuously weaken the immune system. This all supports Duesburg's theory.
Even if he is wrong, I think there is a need to look at a problem differently. It allows you to find all of the loop holes in the existing theory. Duesburg brings up many problems with the HIV virus theory, that I have not touched upon in my review. These problems have made many experts second guess their "faith" in the presently accepted theory.
Definately read the book and get back to me.

What do you think? It's hard to believe, but possible I guess. After reading the book, what's your opinion?
