Pros: Good reputation, reasonable.

I went through this book with initially, some skepticism
that they would trash virtually most things, however, I
found myself more surprised than not.
I think the Mayo Clinic's book did some justice to many
substances and therapies, and was relatively even-handed
and fair. I personally think they were a bit too hesitant
on a few things, but all in all, I mostly like this book,
and how they presented it.
For someone just initiating themselves to this area of health, this can get one started with a view from a respected allopathic facility.
