Pros:Great descriptions and story
The Bottom Line: I recommend this book to anyone loving a great trilogy.
The final book in the Nora Roberts circle trilogy was not any less brilliant than the other 2. Valley of Silence continued our six chosen to lead the war on evil; Hoyt, our sorcerer; Glenna, the witch; Blair, the vampire hunter; Moira, the queen scholar; Larkin, the shape shifter; Cian, vampire that's chosen to fight on the side of his brother Hoyt. In the first book we saw Hoyt and Glenna fall in love and fight their way to the next book. In the second book we saw Blair and Larkin fall in love and continue to train and fight. In the final book we see Cian and Moira fight their love and win.

The Valley of Silence brings all three books to a conclusion in a way that makes you wonder before it's alll said and done. The group train and get ambushed and have to deal with love and loss of friends and family before the end. You see them fight Lilith the vampire queen and send her messages and her send them back. You feel the magic through the book and the group learn to fully work together and become one group. You see Moira take the sword from the stone and become queen and lead her people into war with her new friends. You feel the love shared between Moira and Cian and their pain that it must end after the war with evil, since he is a vampire. The feelings that are shared make you want to cry and you understand why they are fighting.
The actual war is bloody and full of feeling. You feel the magic flying in the air between sides as the warriors blades crashing with each side. Vampires must be killed by either stakes in the heart, cutting off their head; You can harm them with holy water. In the end you find Cian fighting off Lilith, because she was the one that turned him. After he stakes her and she dissolves into a pile of ash, the get him out of their and then magically call out the sun to fry the rest of the vampires. Cian went back to his own time and thought to get over Moira.
Moira helped finish the battle and morn over her dead. She loved Cian more than life itself. In the end the gods were pleased with what they had done in defeating the evil that Morrigan came to give Cian a gift. The gift of a beating heart, the ability to become human again. So the end of the book ends with an old Cian telling the story to his great grandkids with Moira by his side. True love beat down the evil vampires to save the world.
